I am back! Christmas and New Years were great!
I’ll talk about that in another post so I can talk about Kuching!
ABSOLUTELY LOVED Kuching, as you can probably tell if you’ve been following my blog and twitter. I’m still wearing the ring I bought from Kuching, you know as a symbol of my love hahaha
But no, really I’m even considering to go to Swinburne Sarawak, if it doesn’t flood there I mean. That’s how much I love it. I don’t know, it just feels sooo comfy there and I’m not even sure why.
On the first day we went to a cocoa farm up there near Serian (pretty confident that’s the name ok) and met the owner Puan Manja, who was really nice. Before we left and I said bye to her, she said something in sort of sarawakian to me. It was long too, you know like an advice or something. I had no idea what she was saying though so I only nodded and said yes. Thanks for all the durian and mangosteen and rambutan and langsat though!!! <3
We had Banquet for dinner that night. The place is really called Banquet leh haha. Very pretty *thumbs up
I think on the second day we went to The Spring Mall and in the evening we bought tons of kek lapis sarawak from this shop Dayang Salhah. You can taste all the cakes for free there ugh sooo nice (God bless srwak) and there were pictures of celebrities who visited their shop on their wall. Bought Ikan Terubok(?) and the telur in Satok then went to a hosp cause my bro got all sick from all the durian the day before
for dinner, we had Nasi Ayam Penyet!!! which was soooo nice asdfghjkl

Nasi Ayam Penyet!!! (God bless sarawak)

RJ Ayam Penyet. our driver, uncle samsul said that this place is pretty popular

There on the very right was the friendliest girl I’ve met while I was in kch. She wouldn’t stop smiling at me lol

On the third day we went to Serikin. It was sooooo hot omg please wear lots of sunscreen if you’re going there

Fourth day we went to Kampung Budaya which was pretty interesting. The cultural show is highly recommended! It was very funny and entertaining!

you get a passport and you can stamp it when you visit each of the houses there

Had to eat hotel food for dinner cause it was raining too hard to walk across the street. That was the DRIEST spaghetti carbonara I’ve ever had in my life blegh and trust me I’ve had my fair share of spaghetti dishes. The oxtail there was superb though.
I don’t think we did anything big on the last day but some people from LKM sent us to the airport, which was mighty nice of them :-) thanks again!
welp this is the shortest summary I can do eventhough I think I missed out some stuff haha well hope to see you again kuching! x
